For Leaders

Ways into this work that don't depend on your organization deciding first. Build your workforce strategy with peers who carry the same decisions, at whatever level of commitment fits right now.

Every path includes membership in the Impact Lab community.

THREE PATHS FOR INDIVIDUAL LEADERS.

EXECUTIVE FELLOWSHIP

For leaders building a workforce strategy from the ground up, or rebuilding one after a merger, reorg, or leadership change.

SIX MONTHS · COHORT OF SENIOR PEERS · PHILANTHROPICALLY SUPPORTED, NO COST TO PARTICIPATE

A guided cohort of senior peers who build and implement a workforce strategy together over the course of 6 months. Proven frameworks, expert advisors, and the peer accountability that keeps a strategy moving after the meeting ends.

Kicks off with an immersive, IDEO co-designed Strategy Accelerator, where you align organizational ambition with an actionable strategy

Held under Chatham House Rule for candid, high-trust dialogue

Virtual workshops, office hours, and personal strategy sessions keep the work moving between convenings

Closes with an in-person convening focused on momentum and implementation

EXECUTIVE SANDBOX

For leaders who can't wait for the next cohort, or whose organization isn't ready to sponsor a full engagement.

ONE DAY, IN PERSON · SMALL CURATED GROUP · SELF OR ORG-FUNDED

A one-day working session for senior leaders who want the intellectual rigor and peer candor of the Fellowship without the multi-month, organization-sponsored commitment. A small, vetted group works through real problems in real time, facilitated rather than lectured to.

A single day, in person: not a conference, not a panel

A small, curated group of peers navigating similar challenges across sectors

Facilitated by the Impact Lab and structured around real problems

A natural on-ramp to deeper work: the Impact Lab community, a Strategy Accelerator, or the Fellowship

1:1 EXECUTIVE SESSIONS

For leaders who want to work through a decision privately, before bringing it to their team or leadership.

ONGOING 1:1 SUPPORT · SELF OR ORG-FUNDED · SCALED TO YOUR BUDGET AND NEED

Individual, exec-coach-style strategy support for leaders who want this work without a group cohort. A single leader working one-on-one with an Impact Lab facilitator to build their own position and roadmap.

Built around the specific decision or mandate you're carrying

Available across the same subject areas as our Strategy Accelerators

Useful preparation before bringing the work to your team or leadership

Bespoke structure to fit your needs

WHAT EVERY PATH INCLUDES

IMPACT LAB COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP.

Membership in the Impact Lab is included in every option above: a vetted, cross-sector community of senior leaders working on the same problems, all year. It is included, not sold separately.

Roundtables built around what leaders are actually navigating right now

A peer network for the conversations you can't have inside your own company

Direct access to Impact Lab advisors and partners between formal engagements

Curated introductions, not a mailing list

NOT SURE WHERE YOU FIT?

If you're building a workforce strategy for the first time, or your organization just went through a merger, reorg, or leadership change, the Fellowship is usually the starting point. If you want the rigor without a multi-month commitment, start with the Sandbox. If you'd rather work through something privately before bringing it to your organization, 1:1 Executive Sessions are the fit.

Looking for something for your whole team?

Strategy Accelerators and Lab@ engagements are built for leadership teams, offsites, and convenings.

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

A defined workforce strategy, a committed first step, a peer network that holds you to it, and technical advisors positioned to engage as you implement.

“The initial workshop I attended was a transformative experience. It's an opportunity to develop something that is strategically important to your organization, that you feel passionate about personally, and to get that workshopped, iterated on, and improved in some really magical ways.”

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

Your own defensible position on the workforce question in front of you, and a roadmap you can advocate for inside your organization.

“I've been in a lot of rooms with smart people talking about AI. This one felt different. This group made a different choice. They were trying to get in front of it, to shape the workforce of the future.”
